At Sillar Clinical we are currently looking for an International Business Development Manager. An International Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new opportunities and growing sales with new biotech, medtech, academic and pharmaceutical clients.
For initial consideration, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Have experience working as (international) business development in the biotech, medtech or pharmaceutical industry and/or at least 3 years of experience in a clinical development environment
- Fully proficient in reading, writing and speaking Dutch and English and having notions of speaking French.
- A bachelor or master degree in a medical, health or science related area

- Must be willing to travel frequently

- Ambitious, proactive, driven and communicative
- Able to build and sustain cooperative working relationships and able to work effectively with colleagues in a variety of settings
Major Responsibilities:
- Expansion and strengthening of the relationships with existing accounts
- Acquisition of new customers
- Identification of prospects by research and by visiting conferences
- Generation of new leads
- Contacting prospective clients
- Initiation of client meetings
- Account management
- Active networking within the potential client groups (biotech, medtech, pharmaceutical industry and academic institutions)
- Responsible for sales and business strategies including competitor analysis
- Support of the marketing department in their activities and promotion campaigns
